संभागीय मुख्यालय शहडोल में पासपोर्ट कार्यालय खुलने से लोगों को पासपोर्ट बनवाने में काफी सहूलियत हो रही है। अब शहडोल संभाग के अनूपपुर, उमरिया, शहडोल, जैसे अन्य क्षेत्रों के नागरिक बिना लंबी दूरी तय किए और बिना समय बर्बाद किए, अपने पासपोर्ट संबंधी कार्य पूरे आसानी से करवा रहेें है। पासपोर्ट कार्यालय का उद्देश्य केवल पासपोर्ट जारी करना नहीं है, बल्कि नागरिकों को एक ऐसा प्लेटफार्म प्रदान करना है, जहाँ वे अपनी आवश्यकताओं को आसानी से पूरा कर सकें। पासपोर्ट कार्यालय शहडोल से प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार 02 मार्च से अब तक की अवधि में 2043 पासपोर्ट बनाए गए है। साथ ही पासपोर्ट हेतु दस्तावेज पेपरलेस है और तत्काल पार्सपोर्ट की जरूरत होने पर 24 घंटे के भीतर पासपोर्ट प्रदान किया जाता है।
गौरतलब है कि संभागीय मुख्यालय शहडोल में पासपोर्ट खुल जाने से शहडोल, अनूपपुर, उमरिया व समीपवर्ती आमजनों को आवागमन में सुगमता हो रही है तथा पासपोर्ट खुल जाने से भोपाल, जबलपुर का चक्कर नही लगाना पड़ता है।
