राज्यपाल मंगुभाई पटेल के मुख्य आतिथ्य में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मानव अधिकार दिवस का आयोजन 10 दिसम्बर, 2024 को प्रात: 11 बजे से आरसीव्हीपी नरोन्हा प्रशासन एवं प्रबंधकीय अकादमी भोपाल में होगा। इसमें “भारत में वरिष्ठ नागरिकों की देखभाल और सुरक्षा, सामाजिक जिम्मेदारी, कानूनी सुरक्षा और मानव अधिकार’ विषय पर चर्चा होगी।
अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मानव अधिकार दिवस कार्यक्रम में उप मुख्यमंत्री राजेन्द्र शुक्ल विशिष्ट अतिथि होंगे। प्रमुख सचिव सामाजिक न्याय सशक्तिकरण सुसोनाली पोंक्षे वायंगणकर विशेष आमंत्रित सदस्य होंगी। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता मानव अधिकार आयोग के कार्यवाहक अध्यक्ष मनोहर ममतानी करेंगे। इस अवसर पर आयोग के सदस्य राजीव कुमार टंडन भी उपस्थित रहेंगे।
कार्यक्रम में वृद्धजन कल्याण से संबंधित विभिन्न शासकीय योजनाओं की जानकारी अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी सुशासन एवं नीति विश्लेषण संस्थान के संचालक राजेश गुप्ता द्वारा दी जायेगी। आयोग द्वारा प्रकाशित स्मारिका का विमोचन भी होगा।
कार्यक्रम में न्यायाधीश, प्रशासनिक एवं पुलिस प्रशासन के अधिकारी और वरिष्ठ नागरिक उपस्थित रहेंगे। इस अवसर पर मुख्य चिकित्सा स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी भोपाल द्वारा कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित वरिष्ठजनों के आयुष्मान कार्ड भी बनाये जायेंगे।
