Will Arvind Kejriwal come out of jail? Appealed to the Supreme Court for bail
दिल्ली ! अरविंद केजरीवाल ने अपनी सीबीआई गिरफ्तारी को सुप्रीम कोर्ट में चुनौती दी है. अरविंद केजरीवाल की तरफ से वरिष्ठ वकील अभिषेक मनु सिंघवी ने जल्द सुनवाई की मांग की है. चीफ जस्टिस ने उनसे औपचारिक ईमेल भेजने को कहा है.
ED वाले केस में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने पहले ही अरविंद केजरीवाल को अंतरिम जमानत दे रखी है. लेकिन CBI वाले केस में अभी तक उन्हें जमानत नहीं मिली है. दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने गिरफ्तारी के खिलाफ केजरीवाल की याचिका खारिज कर दिया था. दिल्ली HC ने उन्हें जमानत के लिए ट्रायल कोर्ट जाने को कहा था.
पीएमएलए केस में मिल गई थी जमानत
मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग यानी पीएमएलए केस में दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल को दिल्ली की राउज एवेन्यू कोर्ट ने जमानत दे दी थी. हालांकि दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट ने 25 जून को इस आदेश पर रोक लगा दी थी. मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने इसके बाद अब सुप्रीम कोर्ट में गुहार लगाई थी, जहां से उन्हें 12 जुलाई को अंतरिम जमानत मिल गई थी. इस दौरान सीबीआई ने उन्हें गिरफ्तार कर लिया था. इसके बाद से वो तिहाड़ जेल में ही बंद हैं.
बता दें कि ईडी ने अरविंद केजरीवाल को दिल्ली शराब नीति मामले में मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग केस में 21 मार्च को गिरफ्तार किया था. इसके बाद इसी केस में 26 जून को सीबीआई ने उन्हें अपनी हिरासत में ले लिया था.गौरतलब है कि CBI और ED ने दावा किया है कि वित्त वर्ष 2021-22 की शराब नीति में घोटाला हुआ है. केंद्रीय जांच एजेंसियों के अनुसार, शराब कारोबारियों को अनुचित फायदा पहुंचाने के लिए उनसे रिश्वत ली गई थी. दिल्ली सरकार और आम आदमी पार्टी इस दावों को बार-बार खारिज करती है.
